Can I just say, I LOVE SAN DIEGO! Can I also just say, that ALL those people who live there are completely, and utterly SPOILED!! It rained for two days and there was a 'breaking news alert' on the T.V. People were freaking out and getting out sand bags and there were accidents all over the freeway. The weatherman actually got to say something other than, "sunny with a chance of a cloud, high of 75". I didn't even know if they had that in their vocabulary! It was quite humorous! They all survived and luckily it turned nicer (which is relative, coming from SNOW). Seriously though, it is my most favorite place! The shopping, the weather, the swap meets (i'm addicted, that's a whole other post), the food, the diversity, the trees/greenery, the beach, the sunsets, and the things to DO!! We had a blast! We went down for Jason's Master's program (he finished his first year) and my mom came with us. We visited with Grandad, my Uncle Mark and Pam. We just hung out and enjoyed being together with no work! It was great!

SO Far... SO Good!!!
Towards the end of his chemotherapy he was so swollen and full of nasty chemodrugs and steroids... but he was still such a babe!!

This is Jason's Dad, who shaved his mustache after like 30 years, and Nick his brother who headed up the whole head shaving party!!!

Neatest picture EVER! The head shaving party! It was such a sight
seeing all those boys come together in support!
We just got back from another cancer check-up at the Huntsman cancer Institute and Yeah for Jason! It has been exactly five years since he finished his chemotherapy and radiation therapy treatments!! HE GRADUATED to ONE year visits/check-ups (instead of every 6 months)! I know, I know, poor Jason he will miss Dr. Glenn's upbeat positive personality (not), and getting poked, prodded, and x-rayed.... Yea Kidding!! Jason is da man!! I surely can't ever complain about child birth or being sick or anything anymore in this household!
It seems like SO long ago, yet seems like YESTERDAY (i know it doesn't make sense). He is doing well and I'm taking GOOD care of him! Congratulations Jason!! Here's to LOTS and LOTS of more years CANCER FREE!!!
