Hilarious Moments!!

#1- Jade makes me laugh! She has had a runny nose lately that just won't stop! I'm constantly getting tissues and wiping and wiping! I asked her to go run and get a tissue for me...   AND SHE SURE DID!! Well, at least I know the REST of this toilet paper won't go to waste now! 

#2- We keep telling Jade that 'baby sister' is in mommy's belly.  She's got that part down.  Whenever she wants to kiss her or talk to her, she HAS to have me pull up my shirt so she can see my skin, then she's fine.  She will kiss it and rub my tummy... it's so cute! Last night, she pulled up my shirt and was just talking really close to my belly... for quite awhile.  Finally, she sat up and said 'SEE YA LATER' and put my shirt down over my belly!  It was SO FUNNY!! It was like a drive through window... Well, see ya later, until NEXT time (shut).  :-)   We laughed and laughed!

10 years ago...

     I was about 15 years old and anxiously awaiting the arrival of my 16th birthday so I could DATE and DRIVE;  Just moved here from Kentucky and starting at Timpview High School... yeah, don't really want to go back to that time of my life!

     cuddling with my husband, getting my feet rubbed, yogurt covered pretzels, exercising, Jade, talking, listening to talk radio, going on walks, San Diego, being around family :-) and lots more

3 Bad Habits

    procrastinating projects that need to get done (especially when I was in school), talking too much and not listening better, and.... going grocery shopping when you're HUNGRY! 

5 Things you may not know about me

      I ate 8 goldfish for $100.00(yep, that's right! I chewed 4 and swallowed 4 whole); I always wanted to be a bagger at grocery store when I grew up (my plans changed a little), Eaten steak like 3 times in my life, Want to be a contestant on Fear Factor, I've never had a cavity (yet...)

HURRAY! I finally did it!

Yes, Yes... I have become an official blogger. I have read so many of your cute blogs and realized that I NEVER update our family website, so I thought I'd give this a try.  All who encouraged me... thank you.  Hopefully I can stick to this and make it happen.  I think it will be a great way to keep in touch with everyone and see into our fun lives! :-) Well, I guess I will start with some updates... HERE GOES: 

JADE

Jade is now almost 2 in May.  She is so much fun! I think I spend a lot of the day laughing at funny things she says and does.  This is such a great stage when they try to talk and copy EVERYTHING you say.  She calls Jason, 'babe, honey, sweetie,'  ALL the time! She laughs too, because she knows what she's doing! It's hilarious! She loves her Grandparents- Grandma Lisa, Grandpa, and Grandma and Poppie.  She adores them actually! So, we're so lucky to live by them all.  Her best bud is still BILLY (my parents dog).  She has to see him and give him a bone each time we are up there and then gives him hugs and kisses (i'm sure she is HIS favorite too).  She loves all her cousins and spending time with them.  She has become quite the talker at home, but still is a very reserved, quite observer, when we go out anywhere (we know where she gets that... not from me).  She loves story time at the library and begs to go there everyday! Books, music and dancing are her favorite things to do... (oh, did I mention the PARK...) ok, we have to use that word with caution, and never just throwing it around in a sentence!  Well, that's JADE! 

Jason

Jason has been super busy lately! He is still working at ModusLink and really, really enjoys it.  He has found a job that is perfect for him and his personality.  He is a process engineer which basically means he puts his 'OCD' to good use! :-) He analyzes processes and makes them more efficient to save the company lots of money! He recently went to California to receive an award for saving the company over 1 million dollars! He become a member of the 'millionaires' club.  It was really neat for him.  He has been traveling a lot more with his job lately.  He went to Chicago, Nashville, Ontario, San Diego, and Singapore in the last couple months.  Besides work, he just started a Graduate program at the University of San Diego.  It was fast and when they accepted him, we had to leave for San Diego the next week.  He does 12-15 days on campus throughout the two years and then the rest is via internet.  They have discussion groups each night and talk to their professors each day.  It has been tough.  It's a good program and it's really intense so far.  He has several hours of homework each night and a paper due at the end of each week!  He does a GREAT job at doing all THAT and still being an awesome DAD and cute husband!!  

Preggo

For those who I don't see and talk to all the time... I am about 7 months along due the end of June.  So, yeah!! We are having another GIRL and are very excited.  Jason will be totally out numbered, but that's okay! Maybe he will finally get used to watching chick flicks! I am doing really well and feeling great so far! Jade has been such a great first child, I'm nervous for what's to come! It has been so wonderful to stay at home and be a MoM.  I really enjoy it!  I am still teaching a dental assisting course on Saturdays.  It has been nice to stay involved and I've loved teaching! I keep busy trying to stay active. I team teach with another girl in my ward for a workout group that meets Tuesdays and Thursdays! It's awesome... if you don't have one, start one up! It keeps me motivated especially when I have to be in charge of the class. I have loved going and socializing too, of course! I am trying to start back up hobbies like sewing, and scrapbooking... slowly making progress. For now, I am trying to get things ready for a new baby!  I am debating also where to put the new baby... should she share with Jade upstairs by our room, OR should Jade be downstairs in her own bedroom??  We only have one bedroom upstairs by us and the other is downstairs... It is hard putting her downstairs by herself! She still sleeps in a crib too! She's so little! AHH...The debate continues.  Please share your thoughts!!! There is a comments section ya know!
